A36-unit apartment complex at 38 Cedar St. in Worcester sold for $7.2 million according to a Thursday press release from Worcester broker NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs. The buyer Olivella Properties, Inc. of Norwood, represented by Glickman Kovago & Jacobs Vice President David Eldredge, purchased the property from longtime owner S.J.S. Realty of Acton. The deal was completed on Tuesday. The four-story building, constructed in 1942, was used by Worcester’s Becker College as an off-campus housing facility called Willow Hall until the school’s closure in 2021. The area is home to Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s South Village community. In September WPI opened new residence halls and the South Village Student Center in the area. The City of Worcester assesses the property at $5,475,700.
