The property at 197-207 Pleasant Street in Marlborough, MA was recently purchased by Ar-Raheem Academy, the only Islamic school in New England. Formerly known as the Frye Family Estate, the property is comprised of three structures totaling 37,666 square feet and includes the 5,828 square foot mansion once home to the Frye Family, a 1,838 square foot carriage house, and a towering 30,000 square foot structure, most recently used as a rest home for the Sisters of St. Chretienne.
James Keogh and Peter Kovago of NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs represented the buyer who purchased the property for $3.8M.
“We are elated for our clients,” said Mr. Keogh. “Ar-Raheem had been looking for the right location to foster their school’s growth for awhile. When this opportunity presented itself, it became all hands on deck. This building will serve as a long-term home for the academy with plans to become a cornerstone of the community.”
